Collard Greens and Avocado for Knee Joint Health

Certain nutrient-dense vegetables and healthy fats can naturally support collagen production and help ease joint discomfort. This recipe combines  collad greens and avocado to provide essential vitamins, minerals, and anti-inflammatory compounds that help maintain healthy knee cartilage.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches fresh collard greens (stems removed, leaves chopped)

  • 1 ripe avocado (sliced or mashed)

  • 2 smoked ham hocks (for flavor and natural gelatin)

  • 1 tablespoon  olive oil

  • 4 cups water or bone broth

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 2 cloves  garlic, minced

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
